Managing complexity without losing clarity

A clear digital presence for a national launch

Fight Parkinson’s is one of Australia’s leading organisations supporting people living with Parkinson’s through education, support services, advocacy, research updates and community engagement.

The challenge was not simply redesigning a website, it was restructuring and managing a large, evolving ecosystem of information in a way that remained accessible, intuitive and sustainable for long-term growth.

GRZZ partnered with Fight Parkinson’s to create a modern, scalable digital platform that could support deep content architecture while remaining calm, clear and easy to navigate for both users and internal staff.

Working with Matt and the GRZZ team has been a great experience throughout the development of our new and updated website. They are responsive, professional, and easy to work with. The team listened carefully to our needs, communicated clearly at every stage of the process, and went above and beyond to ensure the website was accessible, inclusive, and truly suitable for our community. The final result looks great, and functions exactly as intended. We’re very happy with the outcome and would happily recommend them.

The Challenge

Fight Parkinson’s had a significant volume of content accumulated over many years, spanning:

  • Medical and health information

  • Support services and programs

  • Research updates

  • Advocacy initiatives

  • Events and fundraising

  • Community and lived-experience stories

The key challenge was ensuring users could easily find information without becoming overwhelmed, while also giving editors the ability to manage and expand the platform efficiently over time.

Accessibility and inclusivity were also critical requirements, ensuring the website could effectively support a broad community with varying needs and abilities.

Our Approach

Rather than designing isolated page templates, we developed a robust component-based system that allowed content to be modular, reusable and highly structured.

We created a library of reusable components specifically tailored to different content types, including:

  • Medical resource layouts

  • Support service content blocks

  • Research and news components

  • Event and campaign modules

  • Community story structures

  • Calls-to-action and support pathways

  • Many of these components were purpose-built for specific categories of content, then reused consistently across hundreds of pages. This allowed the site to maintain strong visual and structural consistency while significantly reducing editorial complexity.

    The modular approach also ensured:

    • Faster and safer content updates

    • Easier long-term maintenance

    • Improved readability across devices

    • Better accessibility outcomes

    • Scalability for future content growth

The result is a large-scale content platform that feels structured, calm and easy to navigate despite the depth of information available.

Accessibility & User Experience

Accessibility was a major focus throughout the project.

The website was designed and developed with accessibility best practices in mind, ensuring users could comfortably access critical information regardless of device, browsing method or ability.

Clear navigation structures, strong typography hierarchy, reusable layouts and simplified pathways all contributed to a more inclusive and supportive user experience.

The Outcome

The final result is a future-focused digital platform that supports Fight Parkinson’s ongoing growth while making complex information easier to access and manage.

The site now provides:

  • A scalable framework for ongoing content expansion

  • Improved editor workflows and content management

  • Clearer pathways for users seeking support and information

  • Consistent presentation across a large volume of content

  • A more accessible and inclusive digital experience

It’s a platform designed not only for today’s needs, but for the organisation’s continued evolution into the future.
