Launching Data Centres Australia
A clear digital presence for a national launch
Data Centres Australia engaged GRZZ to design and build its first public website ahead of a national launch.
As the peak body representing Australia’s data centre sector, Data Centres Australia sits at the centre of the country’s digital economy. Data centres underpin everyday digital services and enable emerging opportunities in AI.
The organisation raises awareness and coordinates action on key opportunities, including Australia's role as a regional hub for AI infrastructure, with the goal of positioning Australia at the forefront of technology innovation and as a benchmark for sustainable data centre development.
With a firm launch date, no existing website and only a basic logo, the brief was clear: create a straightforward, credible online presence that clearly explained who they are, what they do and how stakeholders could engage, without unnecessary complexity.
Homepage
“GRZZ have been the right partner for us from right from the start. We came to them with a tight timeline, no existing website and only a basic logo. The team delivered a professional, authoritative digital presence that was ready for our national launch. GRZZ understood the brief from the beginning, asked the right questions and got on with it. The result was a clean, credible site that clearly communicates who we are and what we do. Genuinely great to work with.”
Clear positioning from day one
The homepage establishes Data Centres Australia as the national representative body for the sector and clearly articulates its role from the outset.
Launching a peak body with no existing visual identity, no website and a fixed launch date leaves little room for iteration. GRZZ moved quickly without cutting corners — refining the logo, developing a cohesive visual language and building a site that felt credible and established from day one. Critically, they understood both the sector and the brief: an organisation positioning Australia as a regional hub for AI infrastructure and sustainable data centre development doesn't need to be flashy — it needs to be authoritative, clear and easy to navigate. GRZZ recognised what the site needed to do, and just as importantly, what it didn't.
The layout was intentionally clean and structured, with clear pathways to insights, reports, updates and background information - allowing government, media and industry visitors to quickly understand the organisation's purpose in just a few steps.
News & Insights
Built for ongoing communication
A flexible News & Insights section was developed to publish updates, reports and thought leadership as the organisation’s work evolves.
To support launch activity, we also implemented stakeholder sign-up functionality, prepared email announcement templates and created foundational social media assets.
This meant Data Centres Australia could begin communicating immediately and scale its outreach as interest grew.
Membership Page
Capturing early momentum
The Membership page was designed to support one of the site’s core objectives: building a connected and engaged stakeholder base.
With strong early interest across the sector, the page provides a clear, friction-free pathway for organisations to learn more and register their interest — capturing momentum at a critical stage of the launch.
